Heading east for the blog tour – innit!

We are in East London for The Boardwalk Collection blog tour today with East London Knit – Renée Callahan – designer of the glamourous Pavilion wrap from the collection.

Pavilion in Islington DK, Marigold

I’ve been Netflix-ing Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries as I wind yarn for Fibre East and so, of course, this sophisticated wrap feels straight out of 1920s glamour to me.

In 4 skeins of Islington DK it’s opulent luxuriousness and pared back linear detailing it brings to mind images of sparkly flapper shifts and plumed feather head dresses. It also has the added benefit of being the most fabulous, lovely, warm blankie when you need it…like at a chilly, windy photoshoot!

Visit Renée today to see what inspired the design and find out more about this glorious wrap!

And if you missed the post on the KAL starting in a couple weeks, here is a banner… ;-P

Some of the Islington DK hues are already a bit low, so if you have your heart set on a specific colour come see us first thing on Saturday. We’ll be in the brand new and apparently huge Herdwick building across from the main entrance to the show!

Renée will once again be helping me out at FE and we’ll be showcasing this wrap, along with the rest of the Boardwalk Collection samples, and some of her other amazing designs in Kettle yarn blends.

For those of you not able to make the show, the webshop will be closed for the weekend later today until early next week so get your DK now before it sells out! 😉

Can’t wait to see/ meet some of you!
