Introducing – Skua!

LInda Lencovic Kettle Yarn Co., original designs, TWIST- 100% British BFL fingering

Issue 84 of The Knitter Magazine has just gone live and I can now reveal Skua, a beautiful new pattern by sock designer extraordinaire Clare Devine!

These lovely socks are knit from two 50g skeins of TWIST fingering – 100% British Bluefaced Leicester – a bouncy long staple yarn with a high twisted construction making it extra hard wearing and perfect for socks! Clare used colour ‘old smoke’, a tonal-rich grey.

I love how she designed these beauties with a lovely lace and cable panel that sinuously coils around the ankle and down the foot, accenting the curve of the ankle – so gorgeous!

TWIST ‘old smoke‘ is now in shop along with other hues in both the 50g skeins or 100g TWIST Jumbo… plus few more hues hitting the shelves in Friday’s update!
