New year…new yarn!

LInda Lencovic work in progress

2014 has blasted in with a huge gust in Old Blighty as the country continues to be buffeted by gale-force winds in otherwise unnaturally mild weather. The unseasonably balmy temperatures have turned my mind to Spring knit planning a bit early than usual and I am already thinking towards warmer weather and looking forward to the upcoming Spring magazine releases in February.

As nothing says spring like the fresh yellow and greens of new foliage so I’ve got a few suitably springy shades in stock!

A few suggestions for shawl/yarn combos that are currently in shop:

[Salad Shawl by Linda Wilgus & Westminster – Baby Camel/Silk  fingering Hyde variegated green]

[Red Robin Shawl by Helen Stewart & Kensington- SW British BFL/Silk/Cashmere fingering in Barkerville yellow]

A lighter version of this sweet cardi would be perfect for spring…the Kensington 3-ply construction will make these beautiful details pop!

[Netherton by Lydia Gluck & Kensington- SW British BFL/Silk/Cashmere OOAK green]

Hope you all had a lovely holiday and got some quality knitting time in since the last post. After a much needed break I am finally starting off the new year in the shop and have decided to reopen the shop early as I just couldn’t relax any longer! All yarns shown are currently available in the shop with an update of yet more yarns kicking off the new year this Sunday!
