One/Five – Transmute

LInda Lencovic BEYUL, ISLINGTON - British BFL/Silk, Kettle Yarn Co., One / Five

Ever since my post on Emma’s amazing Transmute project in slinky Beyul Sacred Saffron and Yurt I’ve been thinking about how gorgeous it would be to knit a version up in some of the new Islington brights…then at Fandango Emma came to the both WEARING her stunning top and I was smitten!

The beautiful Emma at Fandango!

The beautiful Emma at Fandango!

Isn’t she stunning? I love the way the orange changes places with the grey.

It got me thinking about some brightly coloured versions again, and I decided to mock some up to see how they would look!

Have a peak – here is how I envision it looking with shimmering stripes of Islington Old Smoke and Verdigris:

Then a delicate spring-y version in Neckinger and Peony:

Then taking a classic marinaire to contemporary fabulousness with silver Blighty and the brightest Parapadschada:

Or another bright with Pom and Marigold:

And lastly, a combination I really love Squirrelly and saucy Marigold!

Which is your favourite?
